Ely Business Broadband Survey Results

As part of the City’s Broadband Initiative, Incredible Ely received a grant from the Blandin Foundation, to conduct a survey of how Ely businesses presently use internet services.

Research has demonstrated that bringing broadband to rural communities has the potential for significant increases in economic growth. However broadband coverage alone isn’t enough, how businesses utilize broadband is the key to success.

Pam Ransom, Incredible Ely’s Executive Director, recently concluded this business survey going door to door at Sheridan and Chapman Street businesses.

A report and summary of the findings are below. Thank you in advance for the many Ely Business owners for the time taken to compile information for this survey.
