Business Survey Internet Services
As part of the City’s Broadband Initiative, Incredible Ely has received a grant from the Blandin Foundation, to conduct a survey of how Ely businesses presently use internet services.
Research has demonstrated that bringing broadband to rural communities has the potential for significant increases in economic growth. However broadband coverage alone isn’t enough, how businesses utilize broadband is the key to success.
Starting in April, Pam Ransom, Incredible Ely’s Executive Director, will be going door to door at Sheridan and Chapman Street businesses to meet with you to discuss questions that will:
(1) Develop baseline information for later measurement of Ely business’ adoption and utilization of upcoming broadband services. (2) Incorporate your suggestions about how to bring year-round economic success to Ely’s downtown.
(3) Identify business training needs.
We hope you will take some time out of your very busy day to help us gather this important information.
A summation of this survey will be available at the end of the summer, on Incredible Ely’s website. Thank you in advance for your participation.
If you have questions please send an email to Pam at firstname.lastname@example.org .
